Wow...... something is very very wrong.

Just saw your post, and attempted the example link you provided:

https://web.archive.org/web/20130704043645/http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/asimov.htm

And got spit out to (nowhere)
http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/asimov.htm

This happens on Firefox, Chrome, and IE -- Windows 7 64, same thing across all browsers.

I was wondering if this was some kind of DNS poisoning thing, or perhaps ISP related (uverse)?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT!!
Would like to know how to resolve this, as there are numerous posts about it

Some things to try to see where the problem is

1. Download and boot a Linux live CD with a browser. That will bypass any problem related to Windows.


2. Different DNS servers

3. Try it from a VPN if available

If it still happens after all that.. wow. Not sure.
